He’s called a ‘climate criminal’. Drake Slammed For Taking 14-Minute Jet Trip

Drake took a 14-minute flight from Toronto to Hamilton last weekend

Drake has the resources to support himself for the remainder of his life and the next two generations of his family without having to worry about anything. With this much money, your favorite superstars may occasionally shine. Kylie Jenner has received harsh criticism for taking a brief trip that lasted only a few minutes.

When in fact it would only have taken her an hour to go there in a car. Drake recently experienced the same situation; after taking a flight from Toronto to Hamilton, the artist from Canada was banned from Twitter. The notorious Celebrity Jets Twitter account keeps tabs on famous people's past flights and their own fancy aircraft. Drake's schedule is understandable, but this has crossed the line.

Was Drake rushing at all?

Since Drake tends to have a busy schedule, we can certainly understand if they want to take these little excursions. The only thing that Twitter users seem to care about is how costly jet fuel is and what a waste it has been for celebrities that partake in it.

Do anything you want if you have the money, we advise, but don't condemn others if you don't. However, the real problem here seems to be Drake's apparent hypocrisy when it comes to lowering carbon emissions. Drake is a well-known campaigner who backs the effort to combat climate change, yet he still engages in behavior like this.

Drake just recently revealed that he was teaming up with Aspiration, a purported "finance institution with a conscience." CelebJets stated that the $2,729 in fuel used on this quick journey from Toronto to Hamilton resulted in four tons of carbon dioxide emissions. He spent around $100,000 on jet fuel for his travel from Nice to Toronto, which produced 155 tons of CO2.

Kylie Jenner recently flew from Palm Springs to Van Nuys in California in a 12-minute trip. These public people don't exhibit the social consciousness that they ought to; they should all serve as good examples for the rest of the globe.

The rich mother-of-two was attacked online by irate social media users who labeled her a "climate criminal."

Someone wrote: "Kylie appears to like making quick, presumably drivable journeys in her plane. There appears to be a motif here."

one more said: "Full-time climate criminal, Kylie Jenner. It should never be permitted for these planes to take off."

Added a third. "She flew for 12 minutes? Why is this even permitted when she could have easily gotten inside a car?"

A fourth said indignantly: "The worst part about this is that she lives in Calabasas, 16 miles from Van Nuys. To catch a flight, she traveled 26 miles in the opposite way."

Air Drake!

Rappers have a long history of being considered scions of extravagant wealth. For decades, we have all witnessed the excess that is a part of the hip-hop culture, whether it be in the form of fine liquors, expensive vehicles, or opulent boats. Because of this, not enough people were shocked when Canadian rapper Drake bought a 767 for use as a private plane.

After doing our research, we can confidently predict that jet fuel will cost $1.08 a gallon compared to what it did at the end of 2020. This makes the arithmetic rather simple. What if the cost of petrol alone for a cross-country road trip was $21,600? With his busy tour schedule and jet-setting lifestyle, Drake probably spends close to or more than a million dollars on fuel annually. Sadly, this means that Drake spends nothing like as much of his pay on petrol every year as the rest of us. But the fact that he's not paying the bill does go a long way toward explaining how and why he came to possess Air Drake, his own private Boeing 767.

How much money is Drake worth?

Drake, who is now contracted to Lil Wayne's firm Young Money Entertainment, is one of the richest rappers in the world with an estimated net worth of over $250 million as of July 2022.

Rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor Aubrey "Drake" Graham is from Toronto. He began rapping after becoming well-known for his role in the adolescent drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation.

When Drake was 15 years old, he encountered an acting agent who was the father of a high school acquaintance. Drake got cast in a part in the adolescent drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation thanks to the agency.

Drake portrayed Jimmy Brooks, a basketball player who was shot by a student and had physical disabilities as a result.

Drake said he has always had a sincere passion for music and that Jay-Z was a major inspiration to him. Drake's very first mixtape, Room for Improvement, was made available in 2006. He released his second mixtape a year later, and his third, titled "So Far Gone," was published in 2009.

Drake and Lil Wayne have worked together on a number of tracks, and Drake has also accompanied Wayne on tour. Drake secured a recording deal with Young Money Entertainment, and his debut album, "Thank Me Later," was released in 2010.
