Britney Spears Leaked The Text Messages She Sent Mom From Mental Health Facility in 2019

During a 2019 stint at a mental health institution, Britney Spears allegedly shared a text message with her mother Lynne.

According to BuzzFeed News, Spears stated in the since-deleted post that "It's a bit different with proof." "These are the texts I sent my mum at that time, three years ago. I display it because nobody responded. Additionally, Britney shared conversations with "Jansen," a "friend from home," and Sam Ingham, her former court-appointed attorney.

The singer says in a court filing acquired by The New York Times that she was compelled to stay at a mental health institution in 2019. The court documents were part of Spears' earlier attempts to end her conservatorship. It's not clear if that occurrence corresponds with the one mentioned in the texts she sent to her mother.

These claimed messages from Britney to Lynne seem to challenge the Seroquel dose, an antipsychotic medication used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. According to the Mayo Clinic, another medication that can be administered to treat mania, one aspect of bipolar illness, is lithium. She claims that Seroquel is "WAAAAAY Stronger than Lithium."

Spears stated, "I physically feel all the terrible medication in my stomach. I feel like he's trying to kill me. Britney previously testified in court that she "felt drunk" and "couldn't even have a conversation with my mom or dad" after being made to take lithium.

"Jansen" was "supposed to assist me obtain a new lawyer," according to Spears, but "I never heard back from her." In addition to requesting her friend's opinion on the lithium levels and "it being tracked for so long," Britney also asks for John Bell's contact information.

A lengthy text message purportedly addressed to Ingham—or, as the singer refers to him, "the lawyer I didn't get to pick"—was also posted by Britney. Spears expressed her wish to "live for me and have an exciting life," be permitted to drive once again, and take three trips later that year in her final statement. She expressed a lot of the same things in her shocking testimony from a year ago, which helped her conservatorship end.

Jensen later claimed she responded to Britney's text by posting a screenshot, claiming she "always felt like some of my texts were erased." On her Instagram, Lynne also posted the screenshot that Jensen took. Britney said, "I also have all the 'full talks'! I am sorry that you feel that your closest loved ones have deceived you, she wrote. "Allow me to visit you! I adore you.

What's going on with Britney Spears?

Since her well-known breakdown in 2007, the public has long made nasty jokes about Britney Spears' mental health. However, in recent years, there has appeared to be a change toward real concern for the singer and her wellbeing. However, in the last week, worries over Spears' wellbeing and those in charge of it have abruptly gotten out of hand in the Britney Spears fans as rumors about her recent admission to a mental health institution have gone viral.

Britney's Gram, an otherwise unremarkable podcast that was formerly renowned for parodying her infamously wacky Instagram, is at the center of the controversy. The #FreeBritney movement gained momentum when claims that Spears was being detained against her will were initially made on the podcast. This led to a public outcry that forced Spears to break her silence and deny any wrongdoing. How can we even start to go through this maze of contradicting data? Here is a summary of all the information we currently have on this still extremely fluid scenario.

Where did it begin?

The pop sensation reportedly booked herself into a mental health clinic at an unidentified location on April 3, according to TMZ and Variety, citing "emotional turmoil" over her father's medical concerns. The singer was scheduled to spend 30 days in Las Vegas after her most recent residency was canceled in January. Given the hateful remarks made about Spears' battle with mental illness in the late aughts, it was comforting to see that the pop star's supporters were overwhelmingly in her corner.

What exactly is a whistleblower, then?

Things among Spears supporters went tragically wrong on April 16. The fan podcast Britney's Gram recently broadcast a "special emergency" edition in which an anonymous voicemail purportedly from a former attorney for Spears said that she was being kept against her will at the mental hospital with no release date set. The comedians Tess Barker and Barbara Gray, who co-host the podcast, referred to the unnamed individual as a "very, very trustworthy source," saying that he was associated with the legal team handling Spears' conservatorship (the singer has been under co-conservatorship with her father and lawyer, Andrew Wallet, since 2008 following her first publicized mental breakdown).

It should be emphasized that in March, Andrew Wallet unexpectedly quit his position with Britney Spears, not as a lawyer, leaving her father as the only conservator. The testimony Wallet provided in court was very weird. "It is in the best interest of the conservatee that the acceptance of Wallet's resignation and the issuance of amended letters of conservatorship of the estate occur immediately and without delay," he said. "The conservatorship is engaged in numerous ongoing business activities requiring immediate attention." If the remedy asked below is not granted on an ex parte basis, "the conservatee and her estate would suffer substantial harm, irreparable injury, and urgent danger."
