Chris Rock has addressed the incident that occurred months after Will Smith struck him in the face on stage during the Academy Awards.

The celebrity made an overt reference to the March brawl when Chris made fun of Jada Pinkett-thinning Smith's hair while he was playing at Madison Square Gardens in New York.

According to ET Online, Chris said: "Anyone who believes words hurt has never been hit in the face" while standing on stage with Kevin Hart and Dave Chapelle.

The next day, Chris went into further detail during his act at when, according to US Weekly, he said: "I'm not a victim."

The declaration comes a few days after Kevin, who is good friends with Will and Chris, told Entertainment Tonight: "Will is sorry, and he's obviously in a better place than he was hoping for.

"People are only human, and as such, we occasionally make errors. So instead of discussing the past, try your best to move ahead by appreciating the present."

Kevin kept going: "I can only hope that they manage to get over it and find some comfort in it. I still adore him and Chris, and you know, you can't judge a person only on the basis of one thing. In the end, life moves on and individuals develop, so give him the chance."

The incident was seen by Tyler Perry, who also described what happened to Gayle King. The first thing he mentioned was that there was a distinction between consoling and deescalating. "I also got up early to visit Chris and make sure everything was well. It has been really challenging to be friends with them both."

Will Smith was "wrong in no doubt terms," he said, and he informed him as much.

He said, "Trust me, Chris, who was a true champion for the way he handled it, it was as hard for him as it was for all of us in the room. "However, I want you to know that something that happened was also very traumatic for Will.

That is not a defense. He acted in a wholly incorrect manner. But something so completely out of character for him triggered him.

What happened at the Oscars 2022?

At the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday, Will Smith, an actor, punched Oscars host Chris Rock in the face after finding his joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's hairstyle offensive.

Smith smacked Rock after he made a joke about the 1997 film "G.I. Jane," in which the actress Demi Moore got her head chopped, and subsequently won the prize for best actor for "King Richard."

Alopecia, an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss, sometimes in clumps, affects Pinkett Smith. In 2018, she made her diagnosis public.

The initial argument appeared to be staged, but when Smith went back to his seat and yelled, "Keep my wife's name out of your f***ing mouth !" the atmosphere rapidly became depressing.

According to reports, during a commercial break, an obviously unhappy Smith had to be "taken away and comforted" by actors Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry. Bradley Cooper was also reportedly spotted conversing with the "Men in Black" actor.

"We're going to resolve that as a family, Will and Chris. We're moving on with love right now," Sean "Diddy" stated "Combs as he introduced the following part of the event.

The concert had been going rather well until the argument between the two stars. Major accomplishments include Troy Kotsur becoming the first deaf actor to win an acting award and Ariana DeBose becoming the first Afro-Latina to win an Academy Award for supporting actress.

Chris Rock's Career

Chris Rock is known for his caustic humor and willingness to make fun of people of all racial and gender identities in his stand-up routines. Both white and minority fan communities adore him for his lack of inhibition.

Eddie Murphy discovered Rock performing stand-up comedy at the Comedy Strip in New York when he was 18 years old. Rock made his acting debut in a small part in Murphy's Beverly Hills Cop II (1987). Additionally, Rock appeared in I'm Gonna Get You Sucka by Keenan Ivory Wayans (1988).

Rock joined the Saturday Night Live cast in 1990, following in the footsteps of his idol, Murphy. After a year, he published Born Suspect, his debut collection of comedic writing (1991). He also tried out for the more serious character of Pookie, a witness who is dependent on medicine, in Mario Van Peebles' movie New Jack City (1991).
Rock quit SNL after three seasons to seek other opportunities for employment. Before the show's demise in 1993, Rock made a number of sequences on FOX's In Living Color.

A turning point in Rock's career occurred in 1996. As a result of HBO's recognition of his talents, the cable network created the comedy special Bring in the Pain, which included Rock. Two Emmy Awards and widespread acclaim for the show went to the comedian.
